Veteran defensive player and special teams ace set to return to Ravens squad
Chris Board, a free-agent linebacker, is returning to the Ravens where he started his NFL career. Originally an undrafted free agent out of North Dakota State, Board became one of the Ravens’ top special teams players during his first four years in Baltimore. He also saw some defensive action in his final two seasons with the team. After a season with the Lions and a limited role with the Patriots, Board will likely fill a similar special teams and inside linebacker role for the Ravens in 2024. His return addresses a need for the team after losing Del’Shawn Phillips in free agency.
