Seahawks ink deal with Jerome Baker
The Seahawks lost linebacker Jordyn Brooks to the Dolphins in free agency. To fill the void, they signed former Miami player Jerome Baker to a one-year deal worth $7 million. Baker was released by the Dolphins, so the Seahawks will not lose a compensatory draft pick. He had impressive stats with 78 tackles, 1.5 sacks, two interceptions, an interception return for a touchdown, and three passes defensed in 13 games last year. Baker played 94 games for Miami after being drafted in the third round in 2018. His addition will strengthen the Seahawks’ linebacker group for the upcoming season.
