NFL Network will now showcase games from the Arena Football League and OT7 seven-on-seven league on its cable channel and NFL+ streaming service. Arena football, played indoors on a smaller field, has been around since 1987 and is making a comeback under new ownership. OT7, featuring high schoolers playing touch football, will have 30 teams play over 200 games in a five-week schedule. NFL Network’s coverage of OT7 starts on April 6 and runs through May 5, while arena football broadcasts will begin on April 27 after the 2024 NFL draft. The channel aims to bring a wider variety of football content to its viewers.
