Russell Wilson agrees to one-year contract with Steelers
Russell Wilson is set to sign a team-friendly one-year deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers after leaving the Denver Broncos, who will still be on the hook for a portion of his salary. He will be a bargain for the Steelers at just $1.2 million against the cap. Wilson will compete with the Steelers’ 2022 first-round pick for the starting quarterback job, as they look to improve on last season’s inconsistent quarterback play. Wilson is coming off a bounce-back season with the Broncos and seems excited to join the Steelers in the AFC North. The Steelers and Broncos will face off in 2024.
