Former All-Pro linebacker parting ways with Packers
The Green Bay Packers are releasing former All-Pro linebacker De’Vondre Campbell just before free agency begins. This move will save the Packers around $10.5 million in salary cap space. Despite being an All-Pro in 2021, Campbell was hampered by injuries in 2023, limiting him to 75 tackles in 11 games. He expressed some frustration with injury issues late in the season. Campbell, who will turn 31 in July, is expected to attract interest from other teams in the free-agent market due to his skills as one of the more accomplished linebackers available.
