Deshaun Watson to Begin Throwing Again Next Month After Shoulder Surgery
Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson will start throwing next month after right shoulder surgery ended his 2023 season early. General manager Andrew Berry stated that Watson has been cleared to throw and has been working hard on his rehab. Watson fractured a bone in his throwing shoulder in a game against the Ravens, finishing the game with a win despite the injury. The Browns acquired Watson in a trade from Houston in 2022, but he has only made 12 starts due to injuries. Despite his setbacks, the Browns signed veteran Joe Flacco, who led them to the playoffs and was named the AP Comeback Player of the Year.
