New Bears OC discusses working with Justin Fields or rookie QB

New Offensive Coordinator of the Chicago Bears talks about collaborating with Justin Fields or a first-year quarterback.

Chicago Bears head coach Matt Eberflus decided to replace the offensive coordinator and other assistant coaches due to the need for better growth and development in the offense. New Bears offensive coordinator Shane Waldron assured that the offense would work with either current quarterback Justin Fields or a rookie signal-caller in the lineup. Waldron’s experience with different quarterbacks makes him confident in the ability to adjust his offense to the quarterback’s skillset. It’s believed the Bears will draft USC Trojans signal-caller Caleb Williams. Fields has been linked with potential moves to the Pittsburgh Steelers, Las Vegas Raiders, and Atlanta Falcons. The Bears will have to make a decision about Fields’ future before the NFL combine next week.
