“Baylor’s Dennis Johnson Hired as Defensive Line Coach by Ravens: Report”
After a successful 2023 season with a strong defense, the Baltimore Ravens have had some coaching changes on defense. One of their coaches, Anthony Weaver, accepted a position with the Miami Dolphins, leaving the Ravens with a vacancy for the position of defensive line coach. The team has hired Dennis Johnson from Baylor University to fill this role. Johnson has coaching experience at Baylor, LSU, Kentucky, and Northwestern State, but this will be his first NFL coaching job. He has a strong track record, having helped coach a Baylor defense that ranked in the top 20 nationally in several categories. This hire follows a pattern for coach John Harbaugh, who has successfully hired college coaches in the past.
