UFL’s Battlehawks agree with QB McCarron

UFL’s Battlehawks come to terms with QB McCarron

Kevin Seifert, a staff writer at ESPN, reports that quarterback AJ McCarron has agreed to terms with the St. Louis Battlehawks, one of four surviving XFL teams that will make up the new United Football League. McCarron, who started nine games for the Battlehawks in 2023, signed with the Cincinnati Bengals and spent time on their active roster following a season-ending injury to starter Joe Burrow. The 33-year-old, a fifth-round draft pick of the Bengals in 2014, has appeared in a total of 19 NFL games for the Bengals, Raiders, and Texans. The UFL’s 10-week season opens on March 30.
