NFL player Jimmy Graham to embark on a nonstop rowing journey across the Arctic Ocean to raise funds for charity
Former New Orleans Saints tight end Jimmy Graham is taking on a new challenge by participating in the Arctic Challenge, a 1000 kilometer trek across the Arctic Ocean in July 2025. The team will row nonstop, sleeping for a maximum of 90 minutes at a time and expecting to be at sea for 10-21 days. The group includes former U.S. Navy Seal Andrew Tropp, USRowing’s Female Coastal Athlete of the Year Hannah Huppi, and 2021 bronze medalist in rowing John Huppi. The mission of the challenge is to inspire young minds and push the next generation beyond their limiting beliefs. Graham will have 18 months to prepare for the journey.
