Ravens extend WR Nelson Agholor’s contract for another year
The Baltimore Ravens signed veteran wide receiver Nelson Agholor to a one-year contract extension. Agholor, who had a successful 2023 season, is set to turn 31 and will bring experience and leadership to the team’s young wide receiver core. His re-signing prevented dead money against the team’s salary cap. Other players with void years in their contracts include running back Gus Edwards, wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., guard Kevin Zeitler, safety Geno Stone, and cornerback Rock Ya-Sin. There is uncertainty on whether Beckham Jr. and Stone will be retained, but there is a chance that Zeitler and Edwards could return. Other prominent running backs are slated to become free agents.
