No fines issued by the NFL for the Super Bowl
No players were fined for safety-related violations during Super Bowl LVIII. The league announces fines for the previous week’s games on Saturdays, but none were announced before Super Bowl Sunday, making it the only Sunday of the NFL season without player fines. Nick Bolton and L’Jarius Sneed could have been fined for on-field violations, but none were announced for them. The NFL’s disciplinary office seemed more forgiving during the playoffs, with only seven fines in 13 games, compared to an average of more than one fine per game during the regular season.
