NFL coach may consider seeking reputation restoration in Tuscaloosa
Alabama’s search for a new offensive coordinator after Ryan Grubb went to the Seattle Seahawks includes the NFL’s Eric Bieniemy. Brad Crawford of 247 Sports listed Bieniemy as a candidate. Nick Saban’s history of reviving coaches’ careers could benefit Bieniemy, who recently had a rough season with Washington. There is speculation that Bieniemy might take the 2024 season off, but the position at Alabama might be good for a fresh start. Additionally, Grubb took the Seahawks OC job, creating the possibility for NFL teams to regret letting Bieniemy go.
