Brady expresses surprise that Belichick wasn’t hired as head coach
Bill Belichick, the former New England Patriots coach and six-time Super Bowl winner, did not land a head coaching job in the NFL despite his credentials. His former quarterback, Tom Brady, expressed his surprise at Belichick not getting a coaching job, as the NFL’s coaching carousel concluded with Belichick not being hired. Belichick had only two interviews with the Atlanta Falcons. This will be the first time since 1975 that Belichick will not be coaching in the NFL if he doesn’t take the job as an assistant coach. Brady offered his support, sharing his own experience of being unwanted in free agency and eventually landing and winning a Super Bowl with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
