Longtime NFL coach Doug Marrone has been fired by the Saints after two years as their offensive line coach. The team is expected to hire 49ers passing game coordinator Klint Kubiak as their next offensive coordinator. Marrone previously served as head coach for the Bills and Jaguars, as well as assistant coach for the Saints. The Saints have missed the playoffs for three straight years and are hoping a new offensive scheme will improve the performance of quarterback Derek Carr. Marrone will be looking for a new coaching opportunity as the Saints make changes to their coaching staff.
