Luke Getsy set to join the Raiders as their next offensive coordinator – Yahoo Sports
Luke Getsy, former Bears offensive coordinator, is reportedly set to become the Las Vegas Raiders’ next offensive coordinator. The Raiders interviewed multiple candidates for the position, including Kliff Kingsbury, but ultimately chose Getsy, who was recently fired from the Chicago Bears. Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce wants an offensive coordinator who can average 24 points per game and is a great teacher. Despite Getsy’s previous struggles with the Bears’ passing offense, his familiarity with top receiver Davante Adams and his success in running the ball make him an appealing choice for the Raiders. Additionally, Las Vegas has been mentioned as a possible trade destination for Getsy’s former quarterback Justin Fields.
