Titans Make Offseason Move, Hiring Dennard Wilson as Defensive Coordinator
Dennard Wilson, the former defensive backs coach for the Ravens, is set to join the Tennessee Titans as their new defensive coordinator. Wilson, 41, joined the Ravens for one season before being passed over for the defensive coordinator position with the Philadelphia Eagles. His efforts in Baltimore were noticed with several players improving their game under his coaching. The Titans hope Wilson can help improve their pass defense, which ranked 18th in passing yards allowed per game and 29th in completion percentage allowed. Wilson’s departure leaves a gap in the Ravens’ coaching staff after their defensive coordinator was hired as the head coach for the Seattle Seahawks.
