Police treated Colts owner Jim Irsay for suspected overdose at home in December

Indianapolis police responded to an emergency call at the home of Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay last month, where they found him unresponsive and having difficulty breathing. Irsay’s prescribed medications were listed in the report, and police used a medication to reverse opioid overdoses to revive him. The Colts later released a statement saying that Irsay was being treated for a severe respiratory illness. Irsay has a history of addiction, including battling addiction and nearly dying from a previous overdose, for which he has been to rehab more than 15 times. He was also involved in a controversial arrest for driving under the influence and was suspended by the NFL.
