Former NFL Coach Glanville Takes on Defensive Coordinator Role at Division II School
Former NFL coach Jerry Glanville has been hired as the new defensive coordinator for Northwestern Oklahoma State. Coach Ronnie Jones is excited to have Glanville on board, stating that he brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the program. Glanville, known for his all-black attire and leaving tickets for Elvis Presley at will call on game days, has 57 years of coaching experience, including coaching in the NFL and college football. This move is seen as a major step in bringing back the winning tradition of the Ranger Football program. Glanville’s most recent coaching job was in 2022, and he has also been involved in NASCAR as a team owner and driver.
