Ravens Director of Player Personnel Joe Hortiz interviewed for Chargers’ General Manager Position
The Baltimore Ravens’ front office and coaching staff have been a source of talent for teams with vacancies across the league. The Los Angeles Chargers completed an interview with Ravens Director of Player Personnel Joe Hortiz to potentially fill their general manager vacancy. Hortiz has been with the Ravens since 1998 and has been instrumental in drafting Pro Bowlers and All-Pros. If hired, he would be taking over for former Chargers General Manager Tom Telesco and inheriting a challenging cap situation. This is the second time a member of the Ravens’ front office has received interest from another team for a general manager position. The Ravens now have seven coaches and executives who have been requested to interview during this year’s hiring cycle.
