Dolphins lose star pass-rusher Chubb to torn ACL

Chubb, star pass-rusher for Dolphins, out with torn ACL injury

Miami Dolphins pass-rusher Bradley Chubb suffered a torn ACL in a game against the Baltimore Ravens, ending his season. The decision to keep Chubb and other defensive starters in the game during a blowout loss drew criticism. Coach Mike McDaniel expressed regret and stated that he would not have wanted Chubb to play if he had known he would get hurt. The Dolphins will explore the free agent market for replacements. Additionally, cornerback Xavien Howard left the same game with a foot injury and is expected to be out for Sunday’s game. Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa also suffered a shoulder injury but is expected to play against the Buffalo Bills.
