Texans add ex-Broncos safety who’s been suspended twice in 2023, welcome him back to where NFL career started

Former Broncos Safety, Suspended Twice in 2023, Returns to NFL with Texas Team

Kareem Jackson was claimed off waivers by the Houston Texans after being waived by the Denver Broncos due to two suspensions. His first suspension was for an illegal hit in October and the second suspension occurred just three snaps into his return game. Jackson began his NFL career with the Texans in 2010 and stayed through 2018 before joining the Broncos. He was teammates with current Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans for two seasons. The Texans, currently 8-7, are fighting for a playoff spot and have two big divisional games to finish the season against the Tennessee Titans and the Indianapolis Colts.
