Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence enters concussion protocol
Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence is in the concussion protocol after a 23-7 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. His status for the next game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is uncertain. Lawrence has started every game since being drafted first overall in 2021. Coach Doug Pederson said Lawrence made a mistake by letting the clock run out at the end of the first half. The Jaguars were unable to score in the first half despite multiple opportunities. The Jaguars, Houston Texans, and Indianapolis Colts are tied atop the AFC South at 8-6. If Lawrence is unable to play, C.J. Beathard would start against the Bucs.
