T.J. Watt, Steelers’ standout linebacker, is out of concussion protocol and ready to play against the Colts
Pittsburgh Steelers star linebacker T.J. Watt has been cleared from the concussion protocol and will be able to play against Indianapolis on Saturday. Watt reported concussion-like symptoms after a game against New England, but was cleared by an independent neurologist. He was a limited participant in practice on Tuesday and a full participant on Wednesday before being cleared. Fellow linebacker Alex Highsmith is also in the protocol after leaving the Patriots game with a neck injury. Defensive coordinator Teryl Austin has no restrictions on their playing time. Watt and Highsmith have been key players for the Steelers, who are still in the playoff hunt despite their struggling offense.
