Robbie Gould, known for being the most accurate postseason kicker of the 21st century, has retired from the NFL at the age of 41 after 18 seasons. He played for the Chicago Bears, New York Giants, and San Francisco 49ers. In 16 playoff games, he made all 29 field goal attempts and all 39 extra points. Gould leaves behind a career with 447 field goals, ranking first in the NFL, and maintaining a top-five field goal percentage of 86.5%. He expressed that he will miss being a part of a football team and the camaraderie that comes with it. Despite the desire to continue competing, he has officially announced his retirement.
