Joe Flacco throws a touchdown pass to bring Browns onto the scoreboard
Cleveland Browns’ new quarterback Joe Flacco made an impactful debut, connecting with running back Jerome Ford for a 24-yard touchdown pass in his first drive of the season. This gave the Browns an early 7-0 lead over the Los Angeles Rams. Flacco completed 4-of-5 passes for 65 yards and converted a third-and-14 with a 22-yard strike to Amari Cooper. This touchdown pass was Flacco’s first since Week 2 of last year when he was with the New York Jets. Flacco is the fourth quarterback to start for the Browns this season, joining Deshaun Watson, Dorian Thompson-Robinson, and PJ Walker.
