Veteran who followed Aaron Rodgers from Green Bay no longer with the Jets
The New York Jets and veteran safety Adrian Amos have agreed to part ways. After a four-year stint with the Packers, Amos joined the Jets this past offseason. He started the season as the third safety but has since fallen down the depth chart, playing only 62 defensive snaps over the last seven games. Amos has also contributed on special teams, recording 23 tackles in his 11 appearances. Despite his reduced playing time, Amos finished the 2022 season with a career-high 102 tackles, indicating that he still has something left in the tank. If he hits free agency, there is a chance a contender looks to sign him.
