In win against Jets, Dolphins suffer significant loss with key player injury
Dolphins safety Jevon Holland criticized the artificial turf that sidelined Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Holland’s 99-yard pick-six off a Hail Mary pass at the end of the first half increased Miami’s chance of winning, but an injury to defensive end Jaelan Phillips in the fourth quarter is a huge blow to the team. It will put pressure on the Dolphins’ defensive coordinator, thin out the rotation, and decrease the speed of the defense. Despite the setback, head coach Mike McDaniel remains optimistic and sees the opportunity for someone else to step up in Phillips’ absence.
