Kyler Murray’s teammates notice a change in him after injury, says Cardinals coach
Arizona Cardinals players have noticed a change in quarterback Kyler Murray as he recovered from ACL surgery and meniscus repair. After returning to the field in a victory over the Atlanta Falcons, Murray’s teammates praised his growth as a person and teammate. Despite offseason rumors about his standing within the team, Murray signed a five-year contract extension before his knee injury. General manager Monti Ossenfort and head coach Jonathan Gannon have given Murray a fresh start with the team. During his return game, Murray rushed for 33 yards and a touchdown and completed 19-of-32 pass attempts for 249 yards. Murray believes he has changed over the past year and feels a different energy from his teammates.
