Rams QB Matthew Stafford hasn’t been ruled out vs. Packers

Packers vs Rams: QB Matthew Stafford Not Yet Ruled Out

The Los Angeles Rams are uncertain if quarterback Matthew Stafford will be able to start in their upcoming game against the Green Bay Packers. Stafford suffered a sprained ligament in his right thumb during a loss to the Dallas Cowboys. Backup quarterback Brett Rypien took first-team reps in practice, while Dresser Winn ran the scout team. Coach Sean McVay stated that they are taking it one day at a time and preparing for multiple scenarios. Despite Stafford’s absence from practice, McVay believes his experience could allow him to play without practice. Rypien is prepared to start if needed.
