Commanders Acquire DE Sweat in Trade with Bears for Draft Pick
The Washington Commanders have traded defensive end Montez Sweat to the Chicago Bears in exchange for a 2024 second-round pick. The trade is dependent on Sweat passing a physical. Sweat, who is in the last year of his contract, has been a productive player for Washington but they have opted to receive a draft pick now rather than a potential compensatory selection next year.
