Jaguars employ explosive plays, overcome offensive inconsistency to triumph over Saints
In a game filled with ups and downs, Trevor Lawrence led the Jacksonville Jaguars to a 31-24 victory over the New Orleans Saints. Lawrence, who was dealing with a sprained knee, threw a game-winning touchdown to Christian Kirk with just over three minutes remaining. The Jaguars’ offense struggled to find consistency throughout the game and almost blew their lead, but their defense came through and made some key plays. On the other side, the Saints’ offense continued to struggle, but they were able to tie the game in the fourth quarter before ultimately falling short. Both teams have tough matchups in their next games.
