Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner has been downgraded to out for the game against the Eagles due to a concussion.
New York Jets starting cornerback, Sauce Gardner, has been ruled out for their game against the Philadelphia Eagles due to a concussion. This leaves the Jets without their top two cornerbacks as D.J. Reed is also sidelined with a concussion. The team added cornerback reinforcements by elevating Craig James and Ke’Montae Hayes from the practice squad. Backup cornerbacks Brandin Echols and Justin Hardee were already ruled out with hamstring injuries. In addition to the cornerback issues, the Jets also added rookie offensive lineman Carter Warren to the active roster from injured reserve.
