Nakobe Dean activated by Eagles in a series of roster changes
The Philadelphia Eagles have activated Nakobe Dean to their 53-man roster ahead of their game against the New York Jets on Sunday. Dean, who suffered a foot injury in the season opener, missed the last four games. In order to create a spot for Dean, wide receiver Quez Watkins has been placed on injured reserve. The Eagles also elevated wide receiver Devon Allen and cornerback Mekhi Garner for the game. Veteran Nicholas Morrow filled in well during Dean’s absence, but it is likely that Dean will regain his starting middle linebacker position.
