Sergio Brown, Ex-NFL Player, Arrested Following the Tragic Passing of his Mother
Former NFL player Sergio Brown has been taken into custody after the death of his mother, Myrtle Brown, last month. Sergio was held after entering the US from Mexico and is awaiting extradition to Maywood, Illinois, where his mother’s body was found near her home. Police had issued a warrant for first-degree murder as her death was ruled a homicide. Sergio and Myrtle had been reported missing in September, and Sergio had been acting erratically before his disappearance. Sergio played seven seasons as a safety in the NFL, most notably with the New England Patriots.
