Steelers’ Plane Forced to Land in Kansas City Due to Oil Pressure Failure
The Pittsburgh Steelers’ flight home from Las Vegas had to make an emergency landing in Kansas City due to an oil pressure failure in one of the engines. Team spokesman, Burt Lauten, assured that everyone on the plane was safe and they were making plans to return to Pittsburgh later in the day. Two journalists from KDKA TV were on the plane and reported the incident. Steelers’ defensive tackle, Cam Heyward, joked on Twitter about needing a ride to Pittsburgh from Kansas City Chiefs’ Travis Kelce and pop star Taylor Swift. The team had a day off and will play against the Houston Texans on Sunday.
