Joe Burrow uncertain for Bengals; AJ McCarron joins practice squad as veteran QB
Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow participated in practice on Friday, showing positive signs that his calf injury won’t keep him out of the Monday night game against the Los Angeles Rams. Despite being listed as having “limited participation,” the team remains hopeful that Burrow will be able to play. The Bengals are also signing AJ McCarron to their practice squad as a veteran insurance. Burrow aggravated his calf strain last week and has been day-to-day since. If he can’t play, backup Jake Browning will start. The Bengals are looking to bounce back from two consecutive losses.
