Despite the Denver Broncos’ win-loss record of 0-2, the quarterback Russell Wilson should not be solely blamed for the team’s struggles. Wilson’s reputation took a hit during the disastrous 2022 season, but he has shown improvement this year. He has completed 68.2% of his passes for 485 yards, five touchdowns, and holds the fourth-best passer rating in the NFL. According to Danny Kelly of The Ringer, Wilson is projected to throw 42 touchdowns this season. Kelly points out that Wilson’s film shows that he is still the same player who excelled with his downfield passes during his time with the Seattle Seahawks.
