Rumor has it: Ravens have reached out to Rams regarding RB Cam Akers
The Baltimore Ravens are one of four teams that have expressed interest in trading for Los Angeles Rams running back Cam Akers, according to NFL Insider Jordan Schultz. Akers, who was drafted by the Rams in 2020, had a promising rookie season but suffered a torn Achilles early in his second season. He returned in 2022 and had a strong season, but there now appears to be a rift between him and the Rams. Ravens Head Coach Sean McVay confirmed that the Rams have had teams inquire about Akers, and it would make sense for the Ravens to check on a potential trade given their recent loss of running back J.K. Dobbins to injury.
