The other nominees include Brandon Marshall, Jordy Nelson, Jamaal Charles, T.J. Lang, Josh Sitton, Max Unger, and Haloti Ngata. The nine candidates have a combined 42 Pro Bowl berths and 12 first-team All-Pro selections, with five of them winning Super Bowls. Peppers and Gates were both college basketball players before finding success in football. The list of nominees will be reduced to 25 semifinalists in November, followed by 15 finalists in January, and the final Class of 2024 will be announced in August.
