Ravens Make Roster Adjustments, Adding Veteran Safety to Practice Squad
The Baltimore Ravens have experienced multiple injuries in their season-opening win against the Houston Texans. One of the injuries is to veteran free safety Marcus Williams, who suffered a pectoral injury. Although the injury may not be season-ending, Williams will be out of commission for a significant amount of time. In response to the injury, the Ravens will sign veteran safety Duron Harmon to their practice squad. Harmon is an 11-year veteran with extensive starting experience and championship pedigree. He will provide depth at the safety position while Williams is injured. Additionally, Harmon’s addition will allow Defensive Coordinator Mike Macdonald to utilize Stone and Hamilton in different ways.
