Vrabel: Henry still ‘huge part’ despite lighter load

Vrabel: Henry’s role remains significant despite reduced workload

In their recent loss to the New Orleans Saints, the Tennessee Titans deviated from their usual winning formula, which involved relying heavily on running back Derrick Henry. Instead, the Titans opted to give rookie back Tyjae Spears more playing time, with him seeing five more snaps than Henry. Titans coach Mike Vrabel explained that they were trying to get everyone involved and would continue to find ways to utilize both Henry and Spears. Despite not getting the ball as much as he usually does, Henry expressed trust in the coaching staff and emphasized that it’s not all about him.

However, Vrabel assured that Henry would still be a significant part of the team going forward and that the Saints game was an anomaly.
