Josh McDaniels Acknowledges Jimmy Garoppolo’s Winning Mindset
During his time as the quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers, Jimmy Garoppolo may not have put up big numbers, but he led the team to wins in 38 out of 55 starts. Garoppolo’s ability to find a way to win was evident in his debut for the Las Vegas Raiders. Despite being down 16-10 with under nine minutes left in the game, Garoppolo completed four consecutive passes, including a touchdown, to give the Raiders the lead. He then sealed the win with an eight-yard run. Raiders head coach Josh McDaniels praised Garoppolo’s leadership and winning mentality. Wide receiver Davante Adams also believes that Garoppolo’s ability to finish close games will make a difference for the team.
