This contract sets a precedent for future negotiations with Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons, whose contract discussions will likely start at $35 million per year with at least $123 million guaranteed. Bosa’s and T.J. Watt’s recent contracts have established a standard of a salary cap percentage above 15%.
