Terence Steele, Dallas Cowboys reach agreement on massive $86.8 million extension

The Dallas Cowboys have signed right tackle Terence Steele to an $86.8 million, five-year extension. Steele, an undrafted player who recently recovered from an ACL injury, will receive $50 million guaranteed with an annual average of $17 million, making him one of the top 10 highest-paid right tackles in the league. The deal could be worth up to $91.8 million. Steele started 14 games as a rookie in 2020 and has started a total of 40 out of 45 games. This signing comes after the Cowboys also secured contracts with right guard Zack Martin and cornerback Trevon Diggs.
