The Los Angeles Rams have signed cornerback Duke Shelley to their active roster. Shelley, who spent last season with the Minnesota Vikings, has made 11 career starts and had his best season yet in 2021, recording his first interception and breaking up eight passes. Despite being slightly undersized, Shelley has proven himself as a reliable player. The Vikings did not re-sign him in the offseason and he briefly joined the Las Vegas Raiders before being cut. Shelley is now the sixth cornerback on the Rams’ depth chart and will serve as a backup to Cobie Durant in the slot.
