Vikings TE Hockenson Secures Unprecedented Contract, according to Sources
Minnesota Vikings tight end, T.J. Hockenson, has agreed to a four-year contract extension that will reset the tight end market. The deal is worth at least $66 million and up to $68.5 million, with an average annual value of $17.125 million. Hockenson will receive $42.5 million guaranteed, the highest for a tight end in NFL history. Hockenson had been dealing with injuries and illness over the summer but is now back on the practice field and excited to play football. The Vikings also have pending contract negotiations with wide receiver Justin Jefferson.
