Two USFL players make NFL as teams trim to 53-man rosters

Two players from the USFL successfully transition to the NFL as teams finalize 53-man rosters

Two players from the USFL, Brandon Aubrey and LaBryan Ray, have made it through final cuts and earned spots on NFL rosters for the Dallas Cowboys and Carolina Panthers, respectively. The USFL has shown its ability to help players reach the NFL, with over 320 players getting workouts and over 100 signing NFL contracts in just two seasons. Aubrey, a former soccer player, found success as a kicker for the Birmingham Stallions and was signed by the Cowboys after helping the Stallions win a championship. The USFL is proud of its success in providing NFL opportunities and believes it is here to stay.
