Tyus Bowser to miss first four weeks of the 2023 season

Tyus Bowser ruled out for opening four weeks of the 2023 season

The Baltimore Ravens have placed outside linebacker Tyus Bowser on the Reserve/Non-Football Injury List to start the 2023 season due to a knee injury. As a result, Bowser will miss at least the first four games of the regular season. This leaves Jadeveon Clowney as the only experienced edge defender on the roster. Undrafted rookie Malik Hamm has made the final roster in Bowser’s absence. Bowser’s skill set as a SAM linebacker will be missed, but the Ravens have a strong group of inside linebackers and secondary players who can compensate for his absence. Defensive Coordinator Mike Macdonald will need to adjust the defense accordingly.
