Saints’ Thomas: Surgeries fail to yield desired results on body
New Orleans Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas is expected to be fully healthy for the 2023 season after dealing with toe and ankle injuries for the past three years. Thomas underwent surgery in 2021 for a torn deltoid and other ligaments in his left ankle, and he had another surgery in 2022 after dislocating the second toe on his right foot. Thomas mentioned that his body rejected the hardware inserted during the surgeries, which slowed down his healing process. Despite the setbacks, Thomas is now on track to return to practice at the start of training camp.
